This beautiful lesser stellated icosahedron was a one-of-a-kind art commission made to fit the aesthetic of a particularly wonderful space. Each face is made from two layers and includes a piece of opaque iridescent acrylic that changes color depending on the viewing angle. This provides a magical effect as you move around this decorative lighting sculpture. The designs on the faces are original Celtic knots that are meant to draw focus and seem interconnected. This was a lovely opportunity to experiment with new materials and exciting geometries.
